Theresa Adams joined Choice Research Associates (CRA) as a Research and Experiential Analyst in February of 2021. She received her B.S. in Business Administration—Organizational Management from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in May 2020.

After graduating, Theresa worked with the Smithsonian National Museum of American History (NMAH). Her work focused on providing executive support to the museum's first female director, Anthea M. Hartig. Her work also extended to African American Social Justice History, where she assisted curators with community engagement activities and programming, inclusive of digital work.

Theresa’s previous experiences also include a large role in delivering training and development to team members, records management, procurement, RFP evaluation and publishing, and small, women-owned, and minority (SWAM) utilization. Additionally, through her research, work and program evaluation around SWAM initiatives, Theresa’s employer was able to increase diversity contracts by 25% in the first year. Theresa takes pride in her work: she is particularly passionate about helping clients and marginalized individuals.

In September 2021, Ms. Adams began working as an ETO Systems Administrator for several Office of Victim Services Justice Grants (OVSJG) projects.  Ms. Adams’ current duties include; identifying and resolving issues that occur in the database software, testing backups, importing client data, creating user-profiles and assigning permissions based on the level of database access users need, setup of test and development environment, monitoring data quality and ensuring integrity and security of the database. In addition, she enjoys training and collaborating with clients to improve the efficiency of services
