We work with program administrators and providers and utilize a researcher-practitioner collaboration model called the Program Development Evaluation (PDE) method. The PDE method, developed by Drs. Gary and Denise Gottfredson, allows programs to define and measure attainable goals.

Choice Research Associates also conducts evaluations for ongoing programs (including programs targeting disadvantaged populations, but not necessarily people engaged in the criminal justice system) by using pre-existing administrative data. In other cases, we assist clients by creating Access databases, web-based surveys, and other data collection tools to assess whether the program met their goals. Data from these tools are analyzed and the results are reported to the client, who has the option of submitting the report to meet funder and other reporting requirements.
